I'm R and I have been chronically online since I was 12, which was during the early 2010's. I have very faint memories of that time (my memory has never been really good, maybe that's why i like history, whatever) but I do remember some things like japanese game webpages with layouts similar to the one i installed for this blog, Rookie Mag's "Literally the Best Thing Ever", an ominous escape game about some person stuck in a spaceship, and the maps guessing game before they tried to make you pay for so much as looking at it.
My web experience was a little lonely in the sense that I wasn't *sharing* these things with anybody else, but they were fun back then. So in a way, my blog is fueled by nostalgia for a slightly different time period, when the internet wasn't so arcaic anymore but before it was as overwhelming as it is now.
I can't say much more because I still haven't even posted anything on the site, and I'd hate to make a ten-page essay for a blog i haven't even started writing. If I'm disciplined enough to keep the site going, I'll expand the page. So far, just know that I'm not the most talented of folk. I just write because I have hands.
